Issue: 

ZWCAD is installed on a Windows system with an ARM processor (like Qualcomm Snapdragon), but the software fails to start. What steps should be taken?

Solution:

Method 1: Change system environment variables

  1. Open Settings, go to System  About.
  2. Click Advanced system settings, then open Environment Variables.
  3. Change the Variable value of MIMALLOC_DISABLE_REDIRECT from 0 to 1.

Method 2: Copy & Paste and change the name of specific file in the installation directory folder

  1. Go to the ZWCAD installation directory.
  2. Find the file: openglmesa.dll

  3. Copy and paste this file in the same directory.
  4. Rename the copied file to:opengl32.dll

Method 3: Clear user directory folder and restar ZWCAD

Method 4: Replace the ZwOsBase.dll file

  1. Right-click the ZWCAD icon, and choose Open file location.
  2. Back up the ZwOsBase.dll file located in the ZWCAD installation directory.

  3. Unzip the following ZIP file. Copy the ZwOsBase.dll file from unzipped file to the installation directory, replace the file with the new one.
    ZwOsBase-1.rar

  4. Launch the program to see if it works.
  5. If not, unzip the following ZIP file. Copy the ZwOsBase.dll file from unzipped file to the installation directory again.
