Issue:
ZWCAD is installed on a Windows system with an ARM processor (like Qualcomm Snapdragon), but the software fails to start. What steps should be taken?
Solution:
Method 1: Change system environment variables
- Open Settings, go to System → About.
- Click Advanced system settings, then open Environment Variables.
- Change the Variable value of MIMALLOC_DISABLE_REDIRECT from 0 to 1.
Method 2: Copy & Paste and change the name of specific file in the installation directory folder
- Go to the ZWCAD installation directory.
Find the file: openglmesa.dll
- Copy and paste this file in the same directory.
- Rename the copied file to:opengl32.dll
Method 3: Clear user directory folder and restar ZWCAD

Method 4: Replace the ZwOsBase.dll file
- Right-click the ZWCAD icon, and choose Open file location.
- Back up the ZwOsBase.dll file located in the ZWCAD installation directory.
- Unzip the following ZIP file. Copy the ZwOsBase.dll file from unzipped file to the installation directory, replace the file with the new one.
ZwOsBase-1.rar - Launch the program to see if it works.
- If not, unzip the following ZIP file. Copy the ZwOsBase.dll file from unzipped file to the installation directory again.
