Issue:
The MCP server is available in ZW3D WuKong 2027. How to set it in the AI agent?
Method:
The following method shows the steps for setting it in Codex.
- Download the ZW3D_MCP_V0.1.zip and unzip it.
- Copy the ZW3D_MCP.dll to the apilibs folder in the installation folder (eg., C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027\apilibs).
- Copy the ZW3D_MCP.exe and .env to the installation folder (eg., C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027).
Note: The .env file must be set if ZW3D was not installed in "C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027". Please refer to point 2 in the Note at the end. - Open Codex and click custom → Settings in the bottom-left corner.
- Click Plugins → Add → Add MCP server, name it, and select STDIO. Set the directory(eg., C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027\ZW3D_MCP.exe) of the ZW3D_MCP.exe in the Command to launch.
- Save it. Then the ZW3D MCP can be called when using Codex for AI modeling.
Note:
- The .env and ZW3D_MCP.exe files must be saved in the same folder.
- If ZW3D was not installed in the default folder (C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027).
Please open the .env file with Notepad and set the directory (eg., D:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZW3D WuKong 2027) in the ZW3D_API_DIR parameter and remove the "#" symbol at the beginning.
