Issue:

What Is the difference between visual PMI and semantic PMI when importing a STEP File?

Solution:

  1. Visual PMI is imported as the Block type in ZW3D. It can't be inherited in 2D drawing.
  2. Semantic PMI is recognized as native ZW3D PMI. It can update when the model changes. Its display style can also be modified through the ZW3D PMI settings. 
  3. In addition, Semantic PMI can be inherited into 2D drawing.
