Issue:
How to add a hole tolerance automatically in the hole table in 2D Sheet?
Solution:
Hole tables in ZW3D can inherit tolerance settings from the 3D model. Tolerances must first be set in the modelling environment.
- In the Hole command dialog box, enable the Add D1 tolerance option.
- Click on the Std button to open the Tolerance Inquiry dialog box and select a tolerance standard(e.g., H7).
There are 2 methods in the 2D Sheet environment to display the hole tolerance:
Method I:
- Create a Hole table with the Hole Table command and select the Size parameter.
- Double-click on the Size cell of the generated hole table to open the Modify Text dialog box.
- Click on the Modify the precision and tolerance button and pick the Tolerance Type as needed.
- Click on OK to confirm the setting, and the tolerance will display in the Size cell.
Method II:
- Create a Hole table with the Hole Table command and select the Size, Out-tol, and In-tol parameters.
- Then the Out- and In-Tolerance will appear as separate columns in the table
