What do the Deferred Perpendicular and Deferred Tangent mean in ZWCAD? How to use them to capture objects?

Solution:

Typically, when drawing a line, you first need to determine the first point and then snap to the perpendicular point. The use of deferred perpendicular is the opposite: you first determine which line you want to be perpendicular to, and then drag to determine the second point. 

The second method is used when the only known condition is that the line must be perpendicular to another line. In this case, you determine the line's final position during the drawing process.

1. First, draw a straight line as a reference line. When drawing another line,  click the Perpendicular button on the object or enter PER. Move the cursor over an existing line in the drawing, and the prompt Deferred Perpendicular will appear.  Click anywhere on the line to confirm snapping the deferred perpendicular. As you move the cursor, you can find a line perpendicular to the selected line following the cursor. Click to determine the endpoint of the line, completing the drawing.
   
2. In addition to deferred perpendicular, there is also Deferred Tangent. The usage method is similar. When snapping tangent, first select a circle or arc, click anywhere on the circle or arc to establish the tangency relationship of the line, and then drag the cursor to determine the endpoint position of the line. While dragging, the line will rotate around the circle or arc, as shown in the figure below.
