For floating licenses, when multiple license versions are available on the server, which license will be recognized first during activation on the client's side?

Solution:

  1. When multiple license versions are available on the server, the server will prioritize the license version corresponding to the same year as the client's ZWCAD. If no match is found, it will assign the license with the higher version.
  2. When ZWCAD on the client's side is activated with a lower-version license, if the license on the server is upgraded, the client's side will automatically detect the upgraded higher-version  license on the server and will not require reactivation.

Example:

  • Client's side: ZWCAD 2024
  • Server licenses: ZWCAD 2024

If a ZWCAD 2026 license is added to the server, the client will first use the ZWCAD 2024 license on the server.
If no ZWCAD 2024 licenses on the server are available, the client will automatically detect and use the ZWCAD 2026 license on the server without requiring reactivation.
