Issue:
When drawing a 3D solid, the common way is to choose a 2D sketch plane first, then draw 3D features. Is there a faster and easier way?
Solution:
The Dynamic UCS function in ZWCAD automatically aligns the XY plane of the UCS with the planes on the solid model when creating objects,
eliminating the need to create a temporary plane using the UCS command before creating a sketch. See the example below.
- Turn on the Dynamic UCS function in the status bar.
- When creating a cylinder, place the cursor on the plane of the existing solid, ZWCAD will automatically create a temporary USC coordinate system and use this plane as the temporary plane.
- Follow the prompts to complete the creation of the cylinder.
