Issue:

After successful installation, ZWCAD failes to start and shows an error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application".

Causes:

The error occurs on Windows 11 24H4 due to incompatibility with the system's environment variables in specific scenarios.

Solution:

  1. Open Settings, go to System → About.
  2. Click Advanced system settings, then open Environment Variables.
  3. Change the Variable value of MIMALLOC_DISABLE_REDIRECT from 0 to 1.
