Issue:

As shown in the figure below, the text exceeds the table cell boundaries.
How can the text length be set or the width factor be adjusted to fit within the table cell?

Solution:

  • For Multiline Text:
    Double-click the text to open the text editor.
    Select the text and modify the Width Factor value.


  • For Single-Line Text:
    Select the single-line text, press CTRL+1 to open the Properties palette.
    In the Properties palette, modify the Width Factor.

    Alternatively, use Express → Text → Text Fit or the TEXTFIT command.
    Select the single-line text and specify the desired text width as prompted.
