Issue:

ZWCAD fails to launch, displaying the error message: LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect.

Causes:

The issue is caused by an incompatible graphics card in a multi‑graphics card environment.

Solution:

  1. Right-click on a blank area of the desktop, select Display settings, and open Advanced display settings. Confirm that the Intel display is in use.
  2. Right-click This PC, select Properties, and open Device Manager.
  3. Expand Display adapters and disable all unused graphics cards.
    Note: Do not disable the monitor that is currently in use as identified in the step 1.
