Issue:

Why does ZWCAD fail to open when I double-click a DWG drawing file, even though the printer is printing paper?

Causes:

This issue occurs because the default action for double-clicking DWG files is set to Print, which triggers automatic printing.

Solution:

  1. Execute the command OPTIONS and press Enter to open the Options dialog box. Find User Preferences → Hidden Messages Settings, and check DWG Files Reassociate with ZWCAD.
  2. Restart ZWCAD. When the File Association Warning prompt appears, select Yes to reassociate DWG files with ZWCAD.
