How to input mechanical symbol annotations such as roundness,
flatness, circular runout, etc.?

Solution:

In CAD, common mechanical symbols can be implemented using the GDT font:

  1. When inputting text, select GDT as the font style.

  2. Refer to the diagram below to input the corresponding symbol codes—for example, enter d for flatness or g for circular runout.

  3. After clicking OK, the symbols will display as shown below.
