Issue:
When editing a xref in-place, its layers will have a "$" symbol in their names. How to keep the layers of a xref unchanged?
Solution:
Select the xref, Right-click → Edit Xref In-place to open the Reference Edit window. Click Settings, then uncheck the Create unique layer, style, and block names option, then click OK.
