Issue:

Installation of ZWCAD fails with the message: "The current display device color depth is 16bits, which is incompatible with ZWCAD!"

Causes:

The display adapter properties of the monitor are set incorrectly.

Solution:

  1. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, then select Display settings.
  2. Locate and open Advanced display settings.
  3. Open Display adapter properties for Display 1.
  4. Access List all modes, select a true color (32-bit) display mode, and confirm the selection.
