★How to perform layer filtering in ZWCAD

Issue: 

How to filter layers with specific names in the Layer Properties Manager? For example, how to filter all layers whose names contain "text"？

Solution:

1. Click the menu Format→Layer (or use the LAYER command) to open the Layer Properties Manager dialog box.

2. Click New Property Filter.
   
   

3. In the Layer Filter Properties dialog box that opens, enter a name for the filter.
   
   

4. Under Name, enter *text*. The asterisk is a wildcard, meaning it will find all layers containing the word text.
   
   

5. Refer to the table below for details on wildcard usage.

   #(Pound)	Matches any numeric digit
   @(At)	Matches any alphabetic character
   .(Period)	Matches any nonalphanumeric character
   * (Asterisk)	Matches any string

   ~ (Tilde)	Matches anything but the pattern; for example; ~*EF* matches all strings that don't contain EF
   [ ]	Matches any one of the characters enclosed; for example, [DE]F matches DF and EF
   [~]	Matches any character not enclosed; for example, [~DE]F matches XF but not DF
   [-]	Specifies a range for a single character; for example, [A-G]D matches AD, BD, and so on to GD, but not HD
   `(Reverse quote)	Reads the next character literally; for example, `~DE matches ~DE

6. Click OK to create a filter set that includes only layers with text in their name.
