Issue:
The command line in ZWCAD is set to a floating state in default and does not fill the bottom. How to lock its location so it fills the bottom the same as previous versions?
Solution:
This solution is applicable to ZWCAD 2026 and above.
If you do not want to change the position and display size of command line, please do the following:
- Right-click in a blank area of the toolbar, select Lock Position from the pop-up menu, and then click Floating Windows to enable this function.
- The command line is now locked and cannot be dragged.
If you need to adjust the command line to the former full-screen mode, please do the following:
- Unable the Floating window at the locked position menu.
- Drag the the command line by clicking the gear icon on its left side(as shown in the image below), when the snap-down symbol appears at the bottom of the window, drag it to that symbol.
- The command line is now filled in the bottom
