Issue:

An error occurs during ZWCAD installation. The installation log shows the error code is 2753. How to solve this problem?

Solution:

This installation failure is usually caused by incomplete uninstallation of the software, and can be resolved by either of the two solutions below.
Solution 1
Uninstall the software with the dedicated uninstall tool ZwFixIt, then perform the installation again.

Solution 2

  1. Press Win+R on the keyboard to open the Run dialog box, enter regedit and launch the Registry Editor.
  2. Navigate to the registry path: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products, then find the registry key corresponding to the ZWCAD version installed. For example, the key for ZWCAD 2026 is 59F43428100A00000A10E7026FB7FFC3. If the corresponding key is unknown, check the registry information on the right side by searching each key one by one.
  3. Rename the corresponding registry key to any other name, then proceed with the installation.
