Issue:

As shown in the image below, when setting up Polar Tracking, the Increment Angle option shows the unit symbols d, g, r.

How should this be configured?

Causes:

This is due to the Unit setting for Angles Type.

Solution:

  1. Click the menu Format  Units or use the UNITS command to open the Drawing Units dialog box.
  2. Set the Type for Angles to Decimal Degrees.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Return to the Polar Tracking settings interface.
    The increment angle will now be displayed in the standard decimal format.


    Tips:
    Degrees/Minutes/Seconds: Angle unit is displayed as d.
    Grads: Angle unit is displayed as g.
    Radians: Angle unit is displayed as r.
