How to chamfer the middle section of an edge?

Solution:

1. Click the Chamfer command in Shape.
   
2. In Stop Short of Corner, click on the Edge and select the starting chamfer location.
   
3. Then press the middle mouse button to confirm.
4. Besides, click on the Edge and select the end location of the chamfer.
5. Then Tick the Flip Direction command.
6. Click OK to achieve it.
