Issue:
When the contents of a drawing are copied to another drawing, the text and dimension styles change and are inconsistent with the original drawing. What is the reason for that?
Causes:
In the two drawings, the text style or dimension style settings have the same name, but the settings of the same style in the two drawings are different. As a result, after the content of drawing A is copied, the same style will follow the settings of drawing B, so it will be displayed differently.
Solution:
Below, we take the example of a dimension that changes in style after copying, and rename the dimension style name to solve this problem.
- In the original drawing, select the dimension that has changed, press Ctrl+1 on the keyboard to open the feature bar, check the name of the dimension style and write it down.
- Click the menu Format → Rename(RENAME command), select the dimension style name written down above in Dimension Style, and rename it to achieve the purpose of not duplicating the dimension style of the target drawing, there will be no problem of style changes when copying the graphics.
