Issue:

It is necessary to copy CAD objects to other software such as SolidWorks2012, ZW3D2010, etc. Since the version is lower than ZWCAD, directly using CRTL+C to copy the CAD graphics will not be able to be pasted or it will be an OLE image after pasting.

How to set the drawing format of copied objects? And make them to be pasted into lower version software.

Causes:

The system variable COPYCLIPFORMATS controls the copied drawing format.

Solution:

Input the command COPYCLIPFORMATS in the command line, press Enter, then input the format code that needs to be set.

ZWCAD 2024 has added new interface settings. Click the menu Edit → Copy and Paste Settings(COPYCLIPSETTINGS command) to bring up the dialog box, then set the copy and paste style.
