Solution:

Note: The overwritten files can be restored only if the Create a backup copy with each save in Options is checked, and it is necessary to confirm that the file is not saved for a second time after overwriting it.
When saving a drawing file, the previous version of the drawing will be saved as a file with the same name and a .bak extension. When the graphic is overwritten by mistake during the first save, the .bak file at this time is a backup of the original file. If the file is saved twice, the .bak file created by the second save will overwrite the original backup, and the original image cannot be restored.

  1. In Windows Explorer, show File name extensions.
  2. Find the file with the same name with the file name extension bak and copy it to another folder to avoid overwriting the original file.
  3. Change the file name extension to DWG.
  4. Open this file with ZWCAD.
