★★Why the AutoCAD Mechanical drawings can not be deleted/moved in ZWCAD MFG

Issue:

When AutoCAD Mechanical drawings are opened in ZWCAD MFG, why can't I delete/move symbol annotations, such as welding symbols, geometric tolerances, etc.? How can I edit these symbols?

Solution:

• Solution one:
  Input the ZWMACADMCONVERT command, press Enter, and convert AutoCAD Mechanical drawing custom entities, the objects can be edited after conversion.
  Note: the new function of ZWCAD MFG 2024 can convert AM2012-2018 format.
• Solution two:
  Set it up in ZWCAD Mechanical Edition so that the software automatically converts custom entities when opening them in other drawings, so that you can perform normal editing. The method to set automatic conversion is as follows:
  1. 1. Click on the menu Mechanical → Configuration(X) → Style Configuration(ZWMSTYLEMANAGER command) to open the Style Configuration dialog box.
        
     2. In the System Library, select the Standard currently in use，double-click on Other mechcad migrate config to enter the dialog box.
        
     3. Click on the dropdown menu Field mapping configuration → PROXY → Config → AutoConvert, and set the value of AutoConvert to True, click on OK to save modification.
        
     4. Restart ZWCAD MFG to take effect.
