Issue:

When using Linear balloons for annotation, as the number text increases, the overall width of the number also increases, and the display of balloons is inconsistent. How to set the width of linear balloons?

Solution:

  • Modifying current drawing:
    1. Click on the menu Mechanical → Configuration(X) → Style Configuration(ZWMSTYLEMANAGER command) to open the Style Configuration dialog box.
    2. In the Loaded, double-click on the standard(ISO) that is in the Balloon dropdown menu, then enter the Balloon setting dialog box.

    3. Check Tail width, input the number of the width into D size factor, click OK to complete batch modification of the number width.
  • Modifying Style Configurations for creating new drawings:
    1. Click on the menu Mechanical → Configuration(X) → Style Configuration(ZWMSTYLEMANAGER command) to open the Style Configuration dialog box.

    2. In the System library, select the Standard currently in use, click on the dropdown menu Balloon → ISO, then click on Edit which is in the Property setting dropdown menu.

    3. Modify the value of Property content to 1 in the Text Fix Width field.

    4. Set the desired value of Property content in the Balloon Width Size field. 
    5. Right-click on the standard(ISO) in the Balloon dropdown menu, click on Load, and then click on OK to complete configuration modifications.
