Issue:

Why is some content empty when importing an Excel BOM into a drawing in ZWCAD MFG?

Cause:

When the format of the imported Excel table does not match the format of the BOM in the drawing, the imported BOM may appear empty or missing rows.

In the table shown above, discrepancies between Description and DESCRIPTION, as well as between Standard and STANDARD, can result in issues with the imported BOM.

Solution:

• Solution one:
  Align the header and number of columns of the imported Excel detail table with the BOM in the CAD drawing frame one by one, and import it, as shown in the following figure:
  
  
• Solution two:
  1. Enter the details table editing interface, click the menu File → Export file → Export Excel files to export the BOM.
     
     
  2. Use the exported BOM as a template, fill in the content and save it.
  3. Click on the menu File → Import a file → Import Excel file in the Bom Data Edit dialog box, and select the saved BOM.
