★★★Why do drawings created in ZWCAD MFG not display completely in other CAD software

Issue:

Why do drawings created in ZWCAD MFG not display completely in other CAD software, such as missing tolerances or welding symbols?

Causes:

Tolerances and welding symbols in ZWCAD MFG drawings are custom entities. If they cannot be displayed in other CAD software, there may be several reasons, such as:

• The image of the drawing proxy object is not saved (PROXYGRAPHICS command).
• When opened in other CAD software, the Proxy Information dialog does not appear (PROXYNOTICE command).
• The Show Proxy Graphics option is not checked in the Proxy Information dialog (PROXYSHOW command).

Solution:

1. In ZWCAD MFG, open the drawing, enter the system variable PROXYGRAPHICS. If the value is 0, set it to 1, and then save the drawing.
   
2. In the other CAD software, enter the system variable PROXYNOTICE and set the value to 1.
   
3. Open the drawing in another CAD software like AutoCAD, in the pop-up Proxy Information dialog box, select Show Proxy Graphics, and click OK.
