★How to enable/disable the automatic conversion of PCCAD drawings in ZWCAD MFG

Issue:

ZWCAD MFG may be used to modify PCCAD drawings in design. After modifing in ZWCAD MFG, when attempting to open the file in PCCAD again or upload it to the PLM system integrated with PCCAD, the original PCCAD blocks cannot be edited and the file cannot be checked into the PLM system. Conversely, sometimes it's necessary to automatically convert PCCAD drawings to ZWCAD MFG's format when opening PCCAD drawings in ZWCAD MFG in order to modify title blocks, borders, and BOM tables.

How to enable automatic conversion of PCCAD drawings?

Solution:

1. Click the menu Mechanical → Configuration(X) → Style Configuration(ZWMSTYLEMANAGER command) to open the configuration dialog box
2. Click the Standard → ISO in System library, and then double-click ther meched migrate config to open the corresponding dialog box
   
   
3. In the dialog box, click the PCCAD → Config → AutoConvert, right-click with the mouse and select Edit
   
4. In the dialog box, change the variable to True to enable automatic conversion of PCCAD drawings, change it to False to disable the automatic conversion feature.
5. After modifying the variable to True or False in the dialog box, click OK and then restart the software for the changes to take effect.
