Issue:
In top-down design, the sequence between the constraint relationship and the size of model changes is often involved. How to set the automatic regeneration method in ZW3D?
Solution:
Note: There are 3 methods of automatic regeneration:
- None: The component does not regenerate when its parent regenerates.
- Before assembly regen: When the assembly is regenerated, if the component's parent assembly has an outdated mark, the component will regenerate first, and then the parent assembly will be regenerated.
- After assembly regen: When the assembly is regenerated, if the component's parent assembly file has an outdated mark, the component will regenerate after the parent assembly is regenerated.

Make selections when inserting components.
- Solution II:
- Select the part that needs to be regenerated in the Assembly Manager, right-click and select Auto Regen.
- Select the regen method as needed.
