Issue:

In assembly designs, due to designers' habits, many sub-parts are not aligned with the default coordinate system, as shown in the figure below. We need to create a custom view when creating the 2D drawing. How to create it?

Solution:

  1. Click the drop-down menu of View in the DA Toolbar, select Align with Direction. Select Point, Up, and Right directions.
     
  2. Then Switch to the View Manager tab. Right-click the Custom Views and click New to create a view at the desired position and angle.
