Issue:

The graphics are displayed normally in ZWCAD, but some objects cannot be printed. How to solve this problem?

Causes:

  1. This situation will occur if the graphics are drawn on the non-printing layer DEFPOINTS automatically generated by ZWCAD.
  2. The layer is set to non-printable.
  3. Probably this problem is related to the settings of some printers.

Solution:

  1. Do not draw on the DEFPOINTS layer. The DEFPOINTS layer is a non-printable layer that cannot be deleted by the system by default.
If you accidentally put graphics elements into this layer, printing and deletion will not be possible.
If you accidentally place graphics on this layer, they will definitely disappear when printing.
Select the graphics that cannot be printed, use the shortcut key Ctrl+1 to call out the Properties panel, check whether the layer is DEFPOINTS, and if so, change it to another layer.

  2. Execute the command LAYER to check whether the layer settings include a non-printable layer. If so, modify it to be printable.

  3. Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers, find the printer you are using, open settings, and change Maximum Application Resolution in the Advanced Option to Auto

  4. Please follow the steps below to reset the settings of the printer.
