Issue:

After importing custom materials into ZW3D using Notepad, the garbled text is displayed in the material dialog box.

Causes:

It's a Notepad encoding issue. You need to save the TXT file and change the encoding to ANSI.

Solution:

  1. Open the Notepad file containing custom materials (the TXT file) and click on File → Save As (A).

  2. In the Save As dialog box, change the encoding to ANSI to ensure that the materials display correctly.
