When editing the block in ZWCAD, is it possible to modify objects outside the block?

Solution:

There are two methods for editing blocks: Block Editor and Edit Block In-Place. The Block Editor can only edit the block itself. The Edit Block In-Place cannot edit objects outside the block either by default, which needs to be set to make it.

  1. Click the menu Modify → Xref and Block Editing → RECEdit Reference In-Place  (or use the REFEDIT command).
  2. Select the block you want to edit to open the Reference Eidt dialog.
  3. On the Settings page of the dialog, uncheck the Lock objects not in working set option. This adjustment enables you to edit and modify objects outside the block during block editing.
