Issue:

Sometimes the ZWCAD printing results have many lines with thick lineweight.

How to solve this?

Causes:

  • The object lineweights are thick.
  • The lineweight settings in the plot style are too thick.

Solution:

  • In the Plot or Page Setup dialog box, choose the corresponding plot style table, click modify, check whether the lineweight is using the entity lineweight, if yes, then check the lineweight of the corresponding object, and adjust the value to a proper plotting result.

If the object lineweight value is ByLayer, open Layer Properties Manager, check the lineweight of the corresponding layer, and adjust it to a proper result.
  • In the Plot or Page Setup dialog box, choose the corresponding plot style table, click modify, and adjust the lineweight of the corresponding object color to a proper plotting result.
  • If you don't need to plot lines with thickness at all, you can untick the Plot object lineweights option in the Plot or Page Setup dialog box.
In this way, ZWCAD will plot all line objects in thin lines.
