Issue:

ZW3D crashes at the startup interface, despite having upgraded the graphics card driver to the latest version. Whether disable the discrete graphics card or the integrated graphics card, it still crashes at startup, and the software continues to indicate that the OpenGL version is too low.

Causes:

The minimum supported version for ZW3D is OpenGL 3.3. In this situation, it might be a case of incorrect graphics card usage. It could also be due to loose cables, incorrect connections, or a driver installation error.

Solution:

  1. If the graphics card's connection is loose, try reseating it by unplugging and reinserting the display cable and connectors to ensure a secure connection.
  2. The display cable should be connected to the interface on the discrete graphics card, as indicated by the green arrow in the diagram (number 2), and not to the interface indicated by the red arrow (number 1), which is for integrated graphics.

  3. Make sure that the graphics card driver is installed with the latest version. You can cross-check this using various third-party software tools.
