Issue:

When attempting to offset a spline curve, It failed. What could be the reason?

Causes:

Spline curves are not on the same plane, preventing the offset operation.

Solution:

Click on the menu Express → Tools →  Change Z Value of Coordinate to 0 (command: ZVALTO0),
select the spline curve, and press Enter to finish the modification.  After that, you can proceed with the offset function.
