Issue:

When the graphic object is very complex, the hatch speed will be very slow, is there a way to improve the speed?

Causes:

When using the hatch command, the hatch area will be automatically searched, and ZWCAD only calculates the objects displayed in the current view. The more objects and more complex objects displayed in the current view, the calculation will be larger and take more time.

Solution:

  1. Make the hatch area as large as possible to reduce the number of objects displayed in the view. At the same time, it‘s faster if other objects outside the fill boundary can be hidden.

  2. In general, when using the hatch command, if there are many objects in the current view, ZWCAD will prompt that it needs to run for a long time. When encountering this situation, choose to exit the hatch and adjust the scope and layer of the viewport, then hatch again.
