Issue:

As shown in the picture below, the two drawings are mostly the same, but the file comparison results show that they are all different. Why?

Causes:

This may be caused by the inconsistent positions in the world coordinate system of the two compared drawings.

Solution:

  1. Enter UCS in the command bar, select World (W) in the command branch, and restore the coordinate system of the two images to the world coordinate system.
  2. Move the two pictures separately to make the coordinates consistent. As shown in the figure below, the lower left corner of the frame is aligned with the coordinate origin.
  3. Execute File Compare (FCMP command), then the comparison can be performed normally, and the effect is as shown in the figure below.
