Issue:

Double-clicking the ZW3D shortcut fails to startup.

Solution:

  1. At the ZW3D icon, right-click the mouse, and select Properties.
  2. Click on Shortcut, then copy the path from Start in.
  3. Open File Explorer, paste the path, and press Enter.
  4. Double-click the file FolderMgr.exe in the path, open the User Folder Manager, click on Clear user folders, and you will complete the user directory cleaning process. This require you exit ZW3D first.

Explanation of each item in the User Folder Manager:

  • User Folder: Displays the path of the current user directory. Clicking the folder icon opens the directory where the user directory is located.

  • Clear Auto Output Files: Clears all contents within the output folder in the user directory. ZW3D needs to be closed for this action.

  • Clear Custom Configurations: Clears all contents within the custom folder in the user folder. ZW3D needs to be closed. This function will result in the loss of user-customized configurations, so use it carefully. It's recommended to use the Save Current Configurations function to back up user-customized configurations before clearing them.

  • Clear Temp Files: Clears all contents within the temp folder in the user folder. ZW3D needs to be closed.

  • Clear User Folder: Clears all contents within both the output and custom folders in the user folder. ZW3D needs to be closed. This function similarly results in the loss of user-customized configurations, so use it carefully. It's recommended to use the Save Current Configuration function to back up user-customized configurations before clearing them.

  • Save Current Configuration: Compresses all contents within the custom folder in the user folder into a zip file and saves it to a specified directory. This function is used for backing up user-customized configurations.

  • Load Backup Configuration: Extracts the backup configuration files into the current user folder. ZW3D needs to be closed. This function is used to restore user-customized configurations.
