★★Why ZW3D starts as a trial version even there is still available seats on the server

Issue:

Take the following scenario as an example:

On the ZW3D network licensing server, there is a ZW3D Professional version license (1 node) and a Standard version license (10 nodes).

when one ZW3D instance is opened on any workstation, then the other workstations started as a trial version, why?

Causes:

If all modules were selected during the floating license setting on the workstation side, it may lead to insufficient authorization for the Professional license, resulting in other workstations starting as a trial version.

Solution:

1. To resolve this, you can remove the authorization for the Professional modules that are not needed on the client side, and then proceed with reactivation. In the License Manager, choose Floating License and click Add
   
2. Fill in the Server field with the server's IP or hostname, and click Next
   
3. Select the appropriate licensing modules based on the user's requirements (the image shows Professional Edition modules), and click Finish
   

Notes:
Since ZW3D 2024, it will show by product version definition, so customer can choose the needed version instead of choose the modules as previous versions.
