When I need to migrate the ZW3D Network licensing server from one computer to another, how can I return the license that was previously activated on the server?

Solution:

Note: Before returning network licenses, please stop using the software to ensure that your drawing content can be saved, and return all the borrowed licenses if any on the workstation.

  1. As illustrated in the image below, open the Network License Configuration.
  2. After launching the Network License Configuration, as demonstrated in the image below, in the Start/Stop/Reread tab, click on the Stop Server option (you can also check Force Server Shutdown if needed) to halt the ongoing service.
  3. As shown in the image below, open the Network License Manager.
  4. Once you're in the Network License Manager window, locate the license you want to return, then click on the Return License icon.
  5. As shown in the image below, click on Return.
  6. Click Done, and you will have successfully completed the return of the current network license.
