★★ ZW3D installation fails and the log prompts 1603 solution

Issue:

When ZW3D is installed, it prompts that the installation failed, and the exit code indicated in the log file is 1603.

Causes:

The reason is that there is a problem with the Windows Installer service.

Solution:

1. Press WIN+R to open the Run window, input CMD and click OK to open the Command window, and input the following commands:
   msiexec /unregister        -----stop the Windows Installer service
   msiexec /regserver         -----restart the Windows Installer service
   
2. Open Services in Start menu, find Windows Installer, right click it and click Properties to check its status in General tab. Make sure the Service status here is Running.
   
3. Restart the computer and try to install ZW3D again.
