Issue:

There may be cases where the size of the graphic and the dimensions are not the same.

Causes:

Generally, the scale of the drawing is 1:1, and the dimension value at this time is the size of the actual object.

Sometimes the graphics will be scaled due to some requirements, and then create dimension to it. The value needs to be coordinated with the zoom ratio to dimension the actual value. For example, the graphics are scaled to 1/2, the dimension value should be enlarged by 2 times accordingly.

Therefore, there is a special setting for scaling the dimension value in the dimension style, which is used in conjunction with graphic scaling.

Solution:

  1. Click the menu Format-Dimension Style (STYLE command) to open the Dimension Style Manager dialog box.
  2. Click Modify → Primary Unit and set the Scale Factor to 1, then the dimension size is now consistent with the graphic size.
