Issue:

The text in the dimension sometimes blocks the graphics behind it. How to cancel the occlusion so that the graphics can be displayed normally?

Causes:

The fill color of the text in the dimension is set to Background, or the value of the system variable DIMTFILL is set to 1, the background of the text in the dimension blocks the graphics behind it.

Solution:

  • Option I:
Enter the DIMTFILL command, and set its value to 0. Please note that this solution is only available for the newly created objects.

  • Option II:

Select the dimension, press Ctrl+1 to call out Properties, and set the fill color of the label text to None.

    Option III:
This solution is only available for newly created objects. If we need to modify the setting of existing dimensions, users need to follow Option II.

    1. Click the menu Format→Dimension Style (DIMSTYLE command) to open the Dimension Style Manager.

    2. Click Modify, and change Text→Text Background to No background.
