★★Why the text is not displayed even though the font is installed in ZWCAD

Issue:

According to the prompt window from ZWCAD regarding the font is missing when open the drawing file. After the font is installed in ZWCAD, the drawing file is still not showing the text correctly after reopening the drawing file.

Causes:

There may be the following reasons:

1. The prompt window only reminds the missing .shx font, and there will be no prompt if the missing font is .ttf font. You will need to check whether the .ttf font is missing;
2. The font file may be misplaced;
3. If other replacement fonts are set for the multiline text, the text will not display correctly if the replacement is missing.

Solution:

1. Input command STYLE to open Text Style Manager, check each style, and see if any text font is stated as not found, which means this font is missing. If the missing font is .shx font, it needs to install in the Fonts folder under the ZWCAD installation path or added in the Support File Search Path. If the missing font is .ttf font, it needs to be installed in C:\Windows\Fonts.
   
2. Input command OP to open Options, find File → Support File Search Path → C:\Program Files\ZWSOFT\ZWCAD 2024\fonts, the font file must be placed under the Support File Search Path.
   
3. Select the abnormal displayed text, and check Text → Contents in Properties panel. If the contents contain "\f......", it means the selected text has been assigned a different font. You need to check whether the font that has been assigned is missing and install the font as instructed in the step 1 and 2.
