★Why does PDF underlay and OLE object not display when zooming in ZWCAD?

Issue:

PDF underlay and OLE object doesn't display when zooming, why and how to make it display?.

Causes:

When zooming and moving, the software needs to calculate the graphic objects, and the larger the data, the longer the software calculation takes.

For PDF underlay and OLE objects with such large data, you can set whether to display them when zooming in the software.

If you need to display them in real-time when zooming, the software will run slower.

Solution:

In ZWCAD 2023 or the previous version, you can run OPTIONS to open the options dialog, and then tick the "Pan and zoom with raster image/PDF underlay" and untick the "Not display hatch while zooming" options to achieve it, after setting, just click "Apply" then "OK".

In ZWCAD 2024 or later versions, due to it supporting hardware acceleration, so the performance is better, we have removed the option "Not display hatch while zooming", and the hatch will be always displayed during zooming, and moved the option "Pan and zoom with raster image/PDF underlay" inside the Graphics Hardware Settings under the Display tab of Options dialog. It's able to tick or untick Pan with PDF underlay/OLE object option to control whether display the objects.
