How to adjust the fading intensity of the external reference object and the in-place edit display?

Solution:

Execute the command OPTIONS to open the Options dialog box.

Adjust the parameters on Fading intensity Control under the Display tab.

The corresponding system variable is XDWGFADECTL and XFADECTL.
