Issue:

How to set up basic information such as text styles, dimension styles, layers, and so on as a template so that it can be used to create new drawing directly in the next time?

Solution:

  1. In ZWCAD, create an empty drawing, set up all the layers, text styles, and dimension styles, and then use the SAVEAS function, selecting the Drawing Template (*.dwt) file type, to save the file as a template file.
  2. When creating a new file, a prompt will appear to select a template file. Select a template file that you previously saved, and the basic settings such as text styles, dimension styles, and layers that you set up previously will be included in the new drawing.
