Issue:

How to import other linetype files in ZWCAD?

Causes:

The linetypes in CAD are saved in linetype files (lin), which are usually located in the software installation directory and backed up in the user directory. Users can open these files with Notepad to customize them.

If ZWCAD needs to use linetypes from other software or custom linetypes, users can locate the linetype file containing the needed linetypes and load it into ZWCAD.

Solution:

1. Copy the required linetype file (.lin) to the local disk.

2. Click on the "Format→ Linetype" menu to open the "Linetype Manager" dialog box.

3. In the "Linetype Manager" dialog box, click the "Load" button to enter the "Add Linetype" dialog box. Click "Browse" and select the .lin file to be loaded. Select the name of the linetype that needs to be loaded from the file and click "OK" to load it.
