Issue:

When there are overlapping objects in the drawing, we can turn on Selection Cycling to select the specific object regardless of the order of objects in the drawing space.

Causes:

ZWCAD provides Selection Cycling, with this function turned on, there will be a selection list prompt when the cursor is pointed at overlapping objects.

Solution:

  1. Input shortcut key DS to open Drafting Settings, find the Selection Cycling tab then check Allow selection cycling. Or find and enable the Selection Cycling button from the bottom status bar in ZWCAD.




  2. When the cursor is pointed at the overlapping objects, the selection list prompts to provide options to select the specific object from the list.
