Issue:
Window selection is not working, or cannot use window selection.
Normally, it should be like the below figure shown, but sometimes, when you perform the windows selection, it doesn't work, you cannot see any rectangle that indicates the selection area.
Causes:
Two system variables: PICKAUTO and PICKDRAG control the window selection.
Solution:
- Input shortcut key OP to open options dialog, select the Selection tab in options.
2. Check Support automatic windowing and choose the Window selection method to Both - Automatic detection.
3. In older versions, check Implied windowing in the Selection tab.
